Supporting individuals and families in the Stirlingshire area who are experiencing homelessness, housing difficulties and financial hardship.

Info for Referrers

Home Starter and Well Being Packs

To ensure these supply of these packs reach those individuals and families who are most in need, we work in close partnership with Stirling Council Homelessness Team and The Bridge staff who distribute the packs.  We are also developing links with local Housing Associations to extend the support to those who are in HA accommodation.

Currently we do not accept referrals for the above packs from any other organisations or by self referral.  This ensures we do not duplicate services and can sustain our support based on the level of donations we receive.

Befriending Referrals

We currently offer befriending and listening through our Crisis Food Bank service.  We hope to extend this and those referrers interested in making referrals should contact the Project C0-ordinator to discuss.  We do not currently accept self-referrals.

Crisis Food Bank

The Crisis Food Bank Project Assistant has developed strong links with local organisations and we have established referral network which includes Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Stirling Council, Women’s Aid and many other local organisations.  This  a gradual roll out which is still growing as we expand the service to ensure we do not over stretch ourselves and exceed the level of donations we have.  A list of referral organisations are available in the ‘Useful Documents’ section of the Website.  If you are interested in becoming a referrer, please get in touch with Ian Morris our Crisis Food Bank Worker.
